LEEAD Consulting, in a Joint Venture with Core Alliance and Ecomarine have been appointed for the design of a New Marine Research Centre located in Umm Al-Quwain, U.A.E. for the Ministry of Public Works. The proposal includes
an Educational Unit which will feature an Exhibition Hall with Aquariums, a Multipurpose building which will include Libraries, Seminar Rooms and a Conference Hall. The complex will also provide several Laboratories and Catered
Accommodation for Researchers. Additionally, within the site, a Fish Hatchery Complex will operate, producing various species of fish fingerlings, which will be released into the sea in order to enhance the local marine life.
